Creepy artwork for sale! Critically acclaimed as “ominous” and “unsettling”, THEY has released a limited run of these hand printed portraits.

Undeniably a movie poster, THEY Design strived to limit distracting from the haunting image of each character, captured from the independent feature film “Dawning.” Every character’s face is framed by the silhouette of the woods in which they are trapped, serving to enforce their unearthly fear. The title design below is similarly entangled.

The result is a preternatural likeness that evokes strong reaction. Exhibited and sold at film festivals nationwide, the eerie portraits immediately garner attention and praise.

Chilibean Project

Chilibean is an upstart video production company in Minneapolis. They were referred to us by our good friends at Pixel Farm and so we were brought on to re-brand & create a new website for Chilibean.

THE LOGO

A few things were already established by the time we started working on the project.

They wanted the color red.
They wanted their dog in the logo [That's where the company got it's name]

We provided three proofs of varying styles.

They chose the first design, which was also the version we thought represented them best. After fine tuning the color palette we landed on the final logo.

THE WEBSITE

The first proof was a step in the right direction:

We went for bigger video, less text and a more diverse color scheme. Soon we arrived at the perfect site for Chilibean.

The site is fantastically coded by our great friend and favorite co-conspirator Andy Davis. As always he used all the CSS standards we’ve come to know and love and also included a simple content management system. We hosted the site on Media Temple’s Dedicated Virtual Server to push the video as fast as possible.
